10-14-19: Mini-Games

Heyo!

A good mini-game is deceptively difficult to make. Every gamer has played that intensely frustrating mini-game that is boring/repetitive/buggy/needlessly difficult... but when you find a good mini-game, it is effortlessly joyful every time you play it... and before you know it hours have passed.

Crestpeak Bay will have around 5 or 6 repeatable mini-games that represent working out and working jobs. The better the player performs, the more gains/money they will earn. While we aim to create engaging mini-games that are fun no matter how many times they are played, the fact of the matter is not every mini-game may be enjoyable, so we will make them skippable in exchange for lesser reward. The game will track high scores so you can try to beat your personal bests.

We'll be revealing the first of many many many final game assets tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that!
